zzz...
I have written a thing for
Alchera about
what I would put in a time capsule.
Yesterday I was awake for far too long, you know. First I had school. I had no lessons in the morning, so I sat around... wrote the time capsule thing... played Who Wants To Be A Millionaire on the computers with Lauren (once Mrs Dye was elsewhere)... did two questions of Statistics. In the afternoon we had sort of a test, only using our books.
After school we stood around before cleaning (we being me and Jessie) and complained about the evil test. Cleaning wasn't too bad... we finished quite early, and Caroline gave me a lift into town. I ate food, went to the library (got Small Gods (Pterry) and A Wild Sheep Chase (Haruki Murakami)) and wandered around for a bit until 7, and then I went to the Playhouse with Sam L. For it was recently her 18th. Most fun. I didn't know anyone else who was there until we moved to Fashions (aka Fascists, for some reason), but Emma and Charlotte were there (apparently also Laura, but I didn't see her). And I was repeatedly bad at pool, although I actually potted 3 somehow... and I got the 11.15ish bus home, sadly missing all of Children in Need on tv. Oh woe.
Matthew is now trying to annoy me by saying he doesn't believe I drank any alcohol. But... why am I meant to care again?
Hah. Dervla has sent me a collage of photos of her boobs. How very odd. I want to set it as wallpaper but I don't think other people in this household would appreciate it... so um... Jessica Rabbit, I think.
In the post I got November's Ramtops to Rimfall newsletter (groovy) and a thing from York saying the Maths department have looked at my application and now they've given it to the Computer Science people.

Mm... stationery shopping. I have bought paper, more paper, extra paper, sticky label things, pretty envelopes, stickers of frogs, stickers of starts and stickers of Winnie the Pooh.
Also I am writing a list of things that I want for Christmas, because Mum asked me yesterday and I couldn't decide.
Maybe I'll put it on here later.

My second day of working as a cleaner at school... don't know if I mentioned that yet. I do two hours a day, three hours a week for £4.66 an hour. Not too bad. And until the 29th I share work with Alice, which is fun. Alice is groovy ^_^
I am
so bored of maths at the moment I think my brain is going to explode... fortunately next Tuesday is a non-pupil day which I intend to spend asleep, not doing any maths at all whatsoever.
Mrs Dye is being crazy again. Me and Lauren and Emily and Zara and Sam and... etc. are going to murder her and bury her in the coffin in our formroom. What is up with us having to find her to get permission to go home ill? She's a PE teacher! If you're ill, you're
really not going to want to go traipsing around the PE department and the field to find her. And what if she's doing cross-country?
Hm... ranting again. She annoys me.

Just because Mum said I'd put it on here: Mum has bought me a teapot. Apparently it's my first 'going to university' present.
Do you think she realises there's almost a year till I leave?
By the way, if anyone's wondering where Matthew is, I killed him and buried him in the garden.

Night Watch is
fantastic. Read it immediately and revel in its brilliance.
Have I Got News For You was similarly hilarious, as Anne Robinson presented it this week. Hee! I hope she does announce Sooty as being the Greatest Briton as all time. Most amusing.
Also, my first day of cleaning the school. Oh what fun. But I'm sharing Alice's work on Mondays and Fridays until she leaves so I should technically know what I'm doing, and I'm now... £9.32 better off.

for
Alchera, a
list of 100 things that I love.

it's raining...
...and I just had to wade across the flooded road in front of our house. On the plus side, the other Amazon stuff arrived - including Night Watch! I am very happy... but first I must finish The Name of the Rose, yes.
Did I mention that I got my second offer? From Edinburgh, ABC. Woot!
I missed maths for the dentist again today, and Kathryn discovered that there's a coffin in our form room. Odd.

La.
Alice's party was cool. Sparklers and groovy people, and fruit salad (lol). Anyway, I'm avoiding my reduction formulae homework (I've now done 1 whole question!) by making a page for my new lovely
mail-art object. Feel free to
contribute - it's a guide to being a student, which hopefully will come in handy for me next year :) (besides, LMAOs are fun).
The page will probably be
here. I'll let you know otherwise.

^_^ ^_^ ^_^
I got an offer! Happy happy happy :) I got an offer from Durham of ABB, which is totally acheivable. So I'm way happy as you can no doubt tell. Also, Bristol have invited me to an Admissions Day, which is probably like Mrs Fox's PR interview theory.
Yesterday it rained. A lot. At 4:00 our bus
still hadn't arrived and it was raining and raining, and the bus was apparently still at Magdalene Street (a long way away) in a traffic jam. So to kill some time most of us walked to the grammar school. Which was fun, because Matthew P was there ^_^. And then when it finally did arrive, we were stuck on East Hill (still a long way from home) until about 5:30. We got home at about 6:00.
BursarVixen Enterprises are selling, among other things, a DWCon DVD. I want. But it is £21.49, and I still have Christmas presents and a few birthday presents to get before I can even consider buying myself stuff. Maybe after Christmas. But I
want it.
Also they sell much stuff that I have already. Con Tshirt with Nac Mac Feegle, Ankh Morpork dollars, Vampire Ball glass and one of the diaries. Cool. Oh, and the programme and chronicle. Way cool.
Did I mention that they're twinning Wincanton with Ankh-Morpork? That is so fun.
Today is Alice's party... cool. Tomorrow is less cool but still fun - the fireworks party in the village. Groove.
So I'm having a good day!

oh the groove
Our new tv and stuff ruuuules. Although the multiple remote controls are most confusing. But I love the surround sound. Mm, technology.
Happy Samhain! Or, Hallowe'en. Whatever you wish. Both the wishes I made last year have come true ^_^ so I made some more just now.

Ooooh... post from Sheena. Happies. In Physics, Mr Bowles showed us pictures of his baby and told me off for writing 'I am a fish' instead of 'Katy Robinson' on my work. Some people are so uncultured. (Although he drew fish all over it also, for some reason.)

bak 2 skool (I'm such a hoot, ne?)
Yesterday's family reunion thing was less boring that expected... however, our list of things that we thought people would say is full of ticks ^_^ Avril and Julian were here from Newfoundland, Sue and Alan from the joy of Colchester like us, and Julie and Graham (who live there) as well as Gareth (cousin currently in Birmingham) and I think his girlfriend Emma were also there. As Dad predicted it is already on the web, as I am so predictable.
It was also very windy. Loads of people lost electricity and/or fence panels, but we seem to be fine.
Today I annoyed everyone with tales of my dull halfterm, and forgot I was allergic to tomatoes (again) and ate them. I only discovered they make me not breathe on... Tuesday-ish, and I've already eaten them four times since then. But I love tomatoes! It's so unfair ;_;
We don't have a form room as it's still under construction, but Kathryn, Emily, Zara, Nina and me sat in there anyway during PSE. One of the doors is locked and the other is almost totally blocked by lockers, plus there's the massive hole in the ceiling, pile of bricks and table of saws and drills and other pointy objects. But noone told us not to!
Further Maths was dullllll and impossible, we're doing reduction formulae. Better than hyperbolics, but still, calculus. Meh. Maths was integration by parts, which I've been using in Further Maths since about June so I had to get Lisa to give me smugpoints for that one. Physics was just sheets about capacitors and electric fields. Not too bad.
And now I must sleeeeeeeep.

mogworthy
Today is mogworthy because... Dad has bought many groovy things, including a DVD-recorder and a digibox. ^_^
Tomorrow we are off to visit relatives, so probably no entry. In other news, my Good Omens fangirlness has re-emerged and in honour of this I feel I should use ^_^ these smileys instead of :) those ones. Much more kawaii.
(Although
why I associate GO with manga/anime otakuness is way beyond me).

How Looney
I'm having a slight Looney Tunes obsession at the moment, sparked by on a conversation on how worryingly attractive Bugs Bunny is in drag. Just now Bugs Bunny was on tv, in drag
again. Oh the shock.
I love Bugs Bunny, and Daffy, and Pepe. They're dudes.
Anyway.

when the revolution comes...
Okay, I'll attempt a coherent entry for once. First, a few good links:
Bookcrossing, and
Timehunt. Warning - I've heard a lot of complaints about Timehunt not liking most browsers or making you download lots of programs, but I've personally never had a problem with it. I've solved Earth and Mercury gates so far... well, it's a start!
And second: Got a bizarre text message from Sam. "When the revolution comes, things will change, people will die. Noone will be safe."
Sam is odd.
